Since 1960, we have been committed to serving our community by fighting blindness and supporting various local initiatives. Join us in making a difference!

We volunteer for community projects that uplift the vulnerable, ensuring everyone has access to essential support and resources.

From environmental care to aiding seniors to honoring heroes, our dedication to service shapes a brighter future for everyone.
Founded in 1960, we pride ourselves on our dedication to serving the community. While we are renowned for our commitment to fighting blindness, we also engage in various volunteer projects that enrich the lives of our neighbors. Our club meets the needs of the community every day, embodying the spirit of service that drives us forward. Join us in making a difference!
We believe in the power of community service. Our members actively participate in projects that address pressing needs such as environmental care, providing food for the hungry, and supporting seniors and the disabled. If you are passionate about helping others, we invite you to join our mission to create positive change.
Your involvement makes all the difference! Whether you have time to volunteer or would like to support our initiatives, we welcome you to connect with us. Together, we can continue the proud tradition of compassion and community service that the Lions Club is known for.

Yes, most of our events are open to the public. We encourage everyone to participate, whether as volunteers or attendees, to help us make a difference. We particularly enjoy it when people drop in on our meetings to see us in action. We meet the 1st Wednesday of every month at Mountain Oaks Cafe in Oakhurst.
If you need assistance, please contact us through our website or call us directly. We are here to help those in need within our community. We always respond to requests for help from any organization or person in the community.
We support a variety of projects including an annual clean up day at Yosemite High, Toys 4 Tots, TunkRTreat, OurClub Youth Center, and we hold various fund raisers to support these projects. Each year we hold a student public speaking contest and award generous scholarships to the winners. We have a fund for helping anyone in need of eye care and/or eyewear, who cannot otherwise afford it.
